DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, June 19\, we are excited to partner with the Queer & Trans API (QTAPI) community for a very special event featuring South Asian and Filipino dance styles of Bhangra and Tinikling from 7-11 P.M. ET upstairs at As You Are (AYA) Bar in Eastern Market\, D.C.’s new woman-owned queer bar and café! We’re also very excited to bring you world champion dancer Erica Smith for a West Coast Swing lesson. Bhangra & Tinikling lessons will be donation-based. Pricing for swing lesson TBD. \nAll attendees will be required to show proof of full vaccination (such as card or photocopy) along with photo ID. Masks are required.
