The Social Impact Awards are an annual recognition program, which honors outstanding commitment to corporate social responsibility and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Formerly, PRNEWS hosted the CSR awards, which reigned for 20 years and this marquee award for Social Good professionals, and in 2020 hosted the inaugural Diversity Awards, which honored historically underrepresented professionals in the wake of rising social protests. Now in 2021, the Social Impact Awards take on the essence of both of these audience favorite programs and look to highlight outstanding CSR & DEI work being done by agencies, corporations, nonprofits, and more both internationally and in the U.S.
Through categories like Sustainability Leader of the Year, CSR Professional of the Year, and Women’s Empowerment Champion, these awards look to celebrate the individuals leading the way in social responsibility and inclusion. The Pioneer Awards showcase the industry’s top communications professionals from historically underrepresented communities and the work they do to advance their communities. Categories like Employee Development Initiative and Mentoring Program, honor the organization’s internal missions and the strides they make to encourage their employees and/or the future members of the organization. Finally, there are over 30 campaign and communications categories, which will celebrate everything from health communications to pro bono work and campaigns by minority-owned businesses to campaigns combatting racial injustice.
Needless to say, there is a campaign for everyone. You’ve done the work to be a more socially responsible and inclusive organization, now is the time to show it off. Enter this impactful work into the 2022 Social Impact Awards.
The entry deadline is October 8. Visit the Call for Entries page for more info.
